Joe Lougheed - Director


Partner, Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP

Joe Lougheed is a Partner in the corporate and private equity group of Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, a National business law firm with offices in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and New York.
Mr. Lougheed was educated at Queen's University, the London School of Economics & Political Science and Dalhousie Law School. He serves on the Board of Trustees at Queen's University and is the Past President of the Queen's University Alumni Association.

Joe is also a Director of the Heritage Park Foundation, the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium Society and the Lougheed House Conservation Society, which operates the "Lougheed House" National Historic Site in Calgary. Joe is also a Director of Pteragen Canada Inc., a wind power development company and Icore (a Government of Alberta high tech R&D funding agency) and is active in various other charities.

Joe is a former Director of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra; Kids Help Phone, Alberta Advisory Board; the Developmental Disabilities Resource Centre and the Alberta Lung Association. From 2003 to 2006 Joe was a Member of the United Way of Calgary and Area Campaign Cabinet.

A fourth generation Calgarian, Joe is married to Vivian Kolias Lougheed and father to James Lougheed (age 3) and Cleo Lougheed (11 months).
